CHANGE! CHANGE! NOW!
Change is the law of life – John F. Kennedy
Change is the only evidence of life – Evelyn Waugh
We're all know that – change seems so easy if it's about other people but when change is about us… Change can be so difficult or even impossible (in our mind). Often we hoping that something will change our life, we use wait-and-see strategy and not doing anything – that is impossible.
This is summary from seminar CHANGE – as the evidence of life, I attend on Saturday 6 Mei 2006 at Balai Sarbini, Jakarta.
These are tips from Mr. Andre Wongso – 1st Motivator in Indonesia on how to handle change :

Bikkhu Uttamo Thera – famous buddish monk
"Life is in this moment, change happens because we compare something happens now with something happens a time ago. Like an arrow throw from it's bow, we see it as a change, but the arrow itself remain the same, our mind that change."
Mr. Rhenald Kasali, Phd. – writer of bestseller book – Change!

If you play now you'll pay later, if you pay now you'll play later
For me change is balance state of inbalance process
What are "balance" in our life that nothing to do with balance at all.. our comfort zone, status quo, common sense, "I suppose …" statements, and many other. Whether we are a victim of change or a change agent it's our choice to make. Be Proactive
Change twice : Change the reality, Change the perception. If you only change one of the two, you may not be successfull to change. (The Palo Alto School)
Not all change is improvement, but without change there can be no improvement" – John C. Maxwell
Make the CHANGES, Face the CHALLENGES, Don't lose the CHANCE. It might happen only once in a lifetime. ACT NOW!

Unleash the Genius Within
"All children are born geniuses, and we spend the first six years of their lives degeniuses them."
~ R. Buckminster Fuller
Being genius isn't purely a matter of knowing more than everyone, isn't matter of intelligence either.
Geniuses thinks in a free, open way of applying their mind, breaking idea barriers and convention. Genius mind leap from one idea to another, they're not following grid-lock thought pattern.
You can be as genius as you were or more than that by developing your "mind muscle". Like others muscle you can build up strong and strecthed muscle – through practice. This is how, but before that realize this..
Most of us rely on a narrow field of expertise to support our ego and self esteem. You can't add water to a full cup just as you can't add new idea to a mind that knowing-it-all.
Be an "expert novice" – keep an open mind and humble heart, welcome the unknown rather than fear it.
This is 4 Steps to Thinking Like a Genius :
- Start making connection
Challenge yourself by looking for similiarities and links between things that appears unrelated. This will help you think and see from different perspective in life. - Discover new thing from the old things
Investigate, explore and dig deeper into connection you've made, by doing this you're applying metaphorming process - Invention
Make your invention from waht you discover - Application
Use your invention to solve a problem. Fill a need, enrich your life, improve this world.

Metaphorming = Creativity = Connectivity = Meaning = Energy
What is metaphorm method?
This question may not only ask by my friend – Hanny Christian but also many of them who read this blog.
"A metaphorm is an object, image, concept, or process that we compare to something else. Metaphorms imply relationships between things that we cannnot explicitly compare nor literally equate. Every object, image, concept or process is a metaphorm. It matters little whether a metaphorm is literally true or not. What is important is that it binds our lives to the vast unconsumable life of the universe, giving us a taste of immortality."
I start know to know about metaphorm when I reading this book – Think Like A Genius
More detail information about metaphorm can be explained by this article Metaphormers – Connecting Our Work and Our World Through Metaphorms

Secret to be Rich
It was a beautifull morning on Saturday 29 April 2006, me and my friends from UPW(Unleash the Power Within) Crew 2006 attends seminar Secret to be Rich by Mr. Tung Desem Waringin in BDN Building, Thamrin, Jakarta.
One video has catched my attention which is show a metaphor on how our brain can develop and learning new skills . As we all know our brain is a living supercomputer. Neuron starts making new connections with other neurons as we develop and learning new skills. There's a gap called synaps. As soon as we have master this new skills, these synaps forms a solid connection between neurons.
So the video show a metaphore of a mountain climber cross aside a hill by using rope. The first attempt is the hardest – the same way when we all learn a new skills. He back-and-forth, each time faster and faster – this show how we improve through practices and repetitions. Finally the mountain climber has build tight rope net as the foundation for building a bridge so then he can back-and-forth with least effort just walking – this happens when we master a skill and become a habit.
We are all habitual creature, we can learn sophisticated dancing moves, study professor's study materials, and so on.
This may intrigue you, we are often asthonised on how computers do complex calculations, save large information on it's memory while it's only language it's understand is just binary- 0 and 1 value.
How come, how come, our brain which is have higher languange representation – alphabet, rythim and melody, often forget name of people just after we finish shaking hand, I believe you've many stories to tell.
So don't waste our potential!!! God gives us incredible resources to solve all problems the world can create. But how? The answer is use your brain.
